The Gillis Silo Returns with New Music, New Chapter,
and the Same Southern Fire

After a seven-year hiatus, Louisiana-based country rock band The Gillis Silo is officially back, marking a powerful new chapter in their story of grit, heart, and Southern soul. Known for their emotionally charged songwriting and hard-hitting stage presence, The Gillis Silo returns with new music, renewed purpose, and a deeper sound forged by time, experience, and reflection.

Formed in 2013 by vocalist and songwriter Caleb Paul, The Gillis Silo quickly gained regional and national traction with hits like “She’s My Hurricane” and “Listen for My Truck,” earning radio play, festival stages, and a loyal fanbase across the South. But in 2018, after years on the road and internal friction, the band quietly — and at times publicly — fractured, bringing their momentum to a hard stop.

“We didn’t break up because we stopped believing in the music,” says Paul. “We broke up because life got real, and we weren’t equipped to carry the weight of it all at that time. But the stories never stopped coming. And neither did the songs.”

Now, with a retooled lineup and a new creative direction, The Gillis Silo isn’t picking up where they left off — they’re starting something stronger. Fans can expect the familiar raw honesty that defined their early work, now paired with deeper songwriting and a sharpened edge shaped by time away from the spotlight.

The band is currently in the studio working on a new release, with select live performances planned for late 2025. More details, including tour dates and new music announcements, will be released via their website and social channels in the coming weeks.

“This isn’t a reunion. It’s a rebirth,” says Paul. “We’re not here to relive the past. We’re here to finish what we started — and build something even better.”
